Stefano Zanero received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico of Milano technical university, where he is currently an Assistant Professor (Ricercatore). Randy V. Sabett, J.D., CISSP, is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, where he is a member of the Internet, Communications & Data Protection practice group. He counsels clients on information security, privacy, IT licensing, and patents, dealing with such issues as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), digital and electronic signatures, federated identity, HIPAA,Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Sarbanes-Oxley, state and federal information security laws, identity theft, and security breaches. Mr. Sabett is a commissioner for the Commission on Cyber Security for the 44th Presidency and teaches Information Policy as an adjunct professor at George Washington University. Julia H. Allen is a senior researcher within the CERT® Program at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), a unit of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Allen is engaged in developing and transitioning executive outreach programs in enterprise security and governance as well as conducting research in software security and assurance. Prior to this technical assignment, Allen served as acting Director of the SEI for an interim period of 6 months as well as Deputy Director/Chief Operating Officer for 3 years. Before joining the SEI, she was a vice president in embedded systems software development for Science Applications International Corporation and managed large software development programs for TRW (now Northrop Grumman). In addition to her work in security governance, Ms. Allen is the author of The CERT Guide to System and Network Security Practices (Addison-Wesley, June 2001) and the CERT Podcast Series: Security for Business Leaders (2006-2009). She is a co-author of Software Security Engineering: A Guide for Project Managers (Addison-Wesley, May 2008). Her degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (University of Michigan), an MS in Electrical Engineering (University of Southern California), and an executive business certificate (University of California – Los Angeles). ® CERT is registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office by Carnegie Mellon University.
